The Kyoto Protocol that was established in 1997 expires in 2012. The Copenhagen Climate Council (CCC) and the Danish Ministry of Climate and Energy have asked for a Research Framework (or 'roadmap') for Climate and Energy as a lead-in to the next U.N. Climate Summit, to be held in December of 2009. In partnership with the CCC (link), Monday Morning (link), and the Ministries of Climate and Energy and of Science, Technology, and Innovation, CITRIS is organizing C-GRACE. This will be one of several mission-critical meetings leading up to the next U.N. Summit.
